As I ended a post on a what's in your water bottle thread. I m no longer using bars, gels, chews, or any other processed energy products for on or off the bike fueling. I have off the bike covered but I am wondering if anyone has some ideas for unprocessed low or no sugar on the bike nutrition. I don't usually need anything for rides of four hours or less so whatever I bring needs to keep well in a jersey pocket. Thanks in advance.

Compliments of Sufferfest :)

I know, not what you are looking for but...
I have a hard time eating while riding to begin with and trying to find something for those longer rides is a PITA.

I have become a fan of the energy bars but with 22g prolly not what you are looking for. I can't do Cliff Bars to me they are like picking up a handful of sand and trying to swallow them. I did use a Cliff MoJo yesterday on a MTB ride and it hit the spot quite nicely
