I do a daily commute in Orlando, one of the worst places (outside of, say, Afganistan) for riding. Crazy cars, crazy people, my sort of town. The commutes are... diverse.

Enjoy riding for the health benifits and for the liberal rights it affords - I can whine about climate change and yet back up my words with "Well, I ride every day to work. And you...?"

Welcome Blue. We were in Orlando this past summer and I'm pretty sure I'd have to give up cycling if I lived there! If it possible to say diverse may be an understatement :) Tourist traffic is possibly the worst to try and deal with...

Thanks all! Been meaning to join for a long time and decided to sit for a spell.

Yeah, Oburg is one tough place to ride. Its slowly getting better, but commuter cyclists (such as myself) are unlikely, uncommon, and (alas) unexpected.

But, on the plus side, I saved three gallons of gas this week, so there is that. :)
