With the temperature rising, it's the season we all love. Spring has neither the heat of summer nor the cold of winter, and is the most suitable season of the year for traveling.

In this season of the year, I always like to ride my beloved e-bike to various places with my family and friends to check in and have a picnic to feel the warmth of the spring sunshine. At the same time, cycling can enrich my life and bring fun and health to me and my family and friends. I love the outdoors in spring.

What about you, do you also like to use your spare time to enrich your life by traveling? So what do you generally choose for outdoor activities?

I ride my bikes with canine companion Chip, who has not one but two bike trailers in which to ride when he is not running alongside while I ride. He needs two trailers for the reason I need multiple bikes: different tools for different jobs. One trailer works great behind upright bikes while the other seems built to be towed by my recumbent.

Today, Chip and I headed out on the water for the first time this season. Mrs. Newleaf and I took up paddleboarding last year. He hates water, so I was a little surprised at how readily Chip took to riding on the board with me.

I am not sure that it is altogether fair that you live in cycling heaven, have baby Yoda as a riding companion, plus a wonderful wife ... and also have access to enjoyable water activities. You must have lived several exemplary lives to earn all this.

At least you aren't wasting it. :D

Carry on.

Riding, kayaking, surfing, hiking, camping, swimming, church services and the everaggravating weekly suburban ritual of hiking in circles pushing a noisy gas slurping lawn manicuring device. Wrenching on bikes and cars, feeding the house's needs. All kinds of stuffs.....more of a year round thing at this latitude than just spring tho

I used to not like spring, because at this time the days feel somehow different, it only gets hotter every day, which I don’t really like. But my favorite activities helped me fall in love with spring! Of course, this cycling - the process of getting used to the road, caring for the bike, planning where to go - all this is very inspiring. There is not always time and mood to be away from home, but it is better to be outdoors more often. Then I call my friends and we play ping-pong together with it. We can in the yard, we can at home - the table can be placed anywhere. A good game to move around and laugh together.
I also like to just walk. I'd love to go hiking, but a few years ago I had a bad experience while hiking and I can't bring myself to start doing it again.
