That looks exactly like the area I ride in, well... except for the hills, trees and paved road.

By the time i got my phone out, most of these had made it to the barn. There had to be forty of them running through the field.

That pic and the one before it are PART of the same hill.
It’s one of the best climbs i have nearby.
I’m trying to map out a century plus that takes in the best climbs i have. THIS will be one of them.

The fog has been CRAZY for the past week and a half or so.

Leaving our lane to go ride. This was really cool looking and somewhat disorienting at least in person. It may be hard to tell from a photos perspective.

How long and how steep is that hill in post #3763 please? Just curious .... I will never go there to ride it .... but it is sort of like watching the pros climb during the Vuelta .... it Looks like such a great ride .....

    It’s 1.6 miles.
    410 feet up
I don’t have the grade but some parts are pretty tough.

It’s a good climb. Not impossible. Not fast for me.

    From today’s ride

At the head of the valley:

Looking back up the valley (probably two miles to the first picture)

This last pic isn’t from the valley. Rather, it’s one of the last Autumn color area holdouts near my house.

This summer, I've thought often that in a few years, after this cv19 nonsense, I'm going to invite everyone for a ride and a cookout.

When that happens, maybe you'll be able to make it.

Eh .... no big deal. Lately I have been riding a 16-mile loop with 400+ feet of climbing. Takes over an hour. I am not fast either. :D

Not sure what ten times the climbing would look like.

I could ride those roads .... but if I started today I might still be working at it come spring.

What building is this? It reminds me of some of the palaces in Germany and Austria.
