Being a primarily nighttime rider, it never ceases to amaze me the number of people I see walking & riding wearing dark clothing and no lights or reflectors/reflective clothes.

Personally, I wear some variation of a safety colored shirt (sometimes with reflective bits, sometimes not), reflective shorts, shoes, at least one blinking taillight, if not two, and a headlight.

If I'm walking or running, I'll wear a safety vest too, and my typical backpack is reflective as well

I will say this, I am in the market for some form of reflective socks and better/more cycling appropriate reflective shorts.

I think Pearl Izumi has some 3M stuff. I've got a contact there, if you want me to check and see which brands offer 3M reflective material on their cycling gear.

Please, if you don't mind.
I ride solo.
I'm on a roll this year.
I'm feeling great, but even today noticed long shadows early in the day.
