No not entirely smooth like that, but overall pretty good. It runs along the rillito river and that's one of the many bridges going over the dry river bed. It's mostly asphalt and has been replaced quite recently. Nice ride though. Theses are pics from my rides.

Thx for the pics! Tucson has some great scenery. Something about those desert vistas always gets me. I'd love the chance to check this trail out for myself.

I know it. The desert is actually pretty spectacular. Greatest part is you the mountains are right there which provides escape from the 105 plus weather!

Rillito River path is a great tool for getting around Tucson. Also a good way to get from the Foothills to downtown or University area.
