Anyone else here get wet? Where do you play?

I'm currently bouncing around south-east Asia. Awesome diving here.

Training/license is most definitely recommended.

Won't be able to get on a boat, get rental gear, or get air without it.
And that's apart from the whole not dying underwater thing...

I've always thought scuba diving seemed awesome, I just don't have the balls for that underwater stuff. Would love to do down in a submarine though. Anyone done that before?

You don't need big balls to try diving.

It's more relaxing than anything... you breathe deep and slow like you're sleeping, and don't exert yourself if it can be helped.

Though... last weekend was an adventure: Wreck diving, deepish, in strong current.

I got enough expensive hobbies! When I hear my friends talk about SCUBA I swear they could be building houses with the money they put into it.

Looks fun though. I love snorkeling so I'm sure SCUBA would be great. Been snorkeling lots of places. Xelha, St. Lucia, Hawaii.
