Nair will burn sensitive facial skin leaving you very red and hurting.
Yeah, no kidding. I used it on my neck and it took a few weeks to recover.
of course, of course
sorry guys, it's not my mother tongue!!
Dave rocks! He was one of my first interviews too.
And no, I've never shaved my legs.
I've never shaved either, and no plans to -- one of the (perhaps few) benefits of age is the diminishing effect of peer pressure.
yo BC, your from philly... is the philly cheese steak shop on south st still kickin??
whether we should shave or not is an immaterial question to me. Answer it will happen when dork disks fly
I have more things that don't make me areo and shaving would not help at all..
the interview is great!!
but you did not ask if he still did it!!
Gotta ask...what's a "dork disk"?
it's a "spoke protector" (only used by dorks.....)
That was a couple of years ago. And it really wasn't one of the questions I was interested in asking.
Should we shave our legs?.
?, Where do you get this we stuff?.
Pelt by Ma Nature!, and proud!...
Ahh, I see. Except there is one small error in that thought process, and that's related to touring. You see, if your touring and something odd happens and throws the rear derailleur into the spokes your screwed, or you shift the chain off the sprocket inside and into the spokes, your screwed...unless you have a spoke protector. Sure the derailleur has a limit screw to prevent that sort of thing, but when touring things get jarred and knocked around and could cause a problem that you didn't expect. It's just a little insurance to keep one happy while touring. Some tourers use them and some don't, I do because I like to the insurance of knowing that in the remote case something goes haywire I won't be walking with a bike that has a dozen or so spokes busted out and a taco'd rim.
I think people dislike the dork disc because its just clear plastic, if it could be chromed out with a snazzy logo on it, they'd be all about it.
it's a practical thing to keep on the bike, but it isn't cool (says the masses)
Carbon fiber dork disc, anyone?
Make it ti, charge about $100, call it premium, make them hard to get, and you would suddenly find they were cool and you could sell all you wanted. Since I am a Fred, I could care less if it were cool, but even that super expensive super cool dork disk would have to leave the ground under its own power before I am going to shave anything for a bicycle ride
Sorry, not sure -- I live way, way out in the 'burbs, and probably only get into downtown Philly 2-3 times a year.
