Too much attention detail for me; takes away from the ride. Went through a period when I would have used that -- right before a broken wrist put me off the bike for a month. After getting back on, it's all been about the ride experience, not numbers. About all I track is commute time anymore.
I'm cycling to lose weight, but I think that would steal the adventure aspect. I really don't know how much I'm losing or gaining but I feel better. Maybe if I were more serious or were training for something.
