Hi everyone, this is my first post on this forum. I made this account becqus i ran into a few issues while restoring a schwinn super le tour road bike. I believe that it is from the 80s if that is of concern. I am not sure how to remove the bottom bracket on the bike. It has super maxy cranks that are currently removed. I am looking to remove then grease the BB. If anyone knows how to go about doing this it would be appreciated. Thanks for reading

I think that you are dealing with a Sugeno BB. It has a tapered spindle that is square so you will need a crank removal tool.

Yes it is a sugino tapered shaft BB. So i believe it is a left hand thread according to your link, being a schwinn super le tour made in japan i believe. Thanks for the link by the way

Turns out It was standard threading. Got it rebuilt and back together
