My neighbor just delivered them. 2010 is starting out excellent already.
I LOVE tamales.
Tomorrow's dinner seems to far away...
Tamales are a Christmas Day staple here in Texas. Love them but the stomach hates me later in the day.
We had some yesterday.
Love em. Where do you get them in Utah industry? Pretty popping Mexican food scene?
Did you not read the first post?
With cilantro lime shrimp and a Corona. Perfection.
Yeah your neighbor. Two questions there though. It seems odd that a native inhabitant of Utah would both have the know how and ability to produce them.
How' the Mexican food in Utah?
I did not know that.
Dude, don't make up quotes for me. No one said my neighbor was a Utah native. She's 1/2 Mexican. But Utah has proper Mexicans like every other state. Just yesterday in my town, a man stabbed and killed his wife. And a bit over a year ago, an undocumented immigrant crashed his 4WD into us.
So then the Mexican food is good?
No better than I can make at home. I was spoiled when I lived in SoCal. But the tamales were great.
Living in Texas I seem to find my new favorite Mexican food place every other week. If you know what you want it's cool to know who makes it best. Also Taco Carts are huge in Austin now. One on every corner. Evidently the regulating agency can't keep up with them so there are a number of unlicensed unregulated taco trucks roaming the city, attempting to give food poisoning to the masses.
