What is the best way to find a comfortable saddle? I have a Cloudnine on my MTB/Hybrid, however it is too cushy. I was looking at the Selle SMP Pro Saddle, expensive but looks like I would like it. Just don't want to pay that $.
I was using a specialized format. Also had a coushy selle that didn't fit my sit bones. I have tried bontrager as well. I perfer the body geometry from specialized. I am surenothers have waaaay more experience than I.
take a look at specialized riva. they run from $29-39 online.
i just pick up one for $35 for a 155mm wide( edge to edge but sit bone area is smaller). usable sit bone area is about 130mm. these seat have a bend to them at the sides.
the seat is not completely flat.
I put a Brooks B-17 narrow on my road bike and a B-17 on my hybrid. People give me strange looks when they see it on my road bike they think I am crazy having a heavy leather seat on a carbon frame but I love it.
