I do a really rigorous regime of cycling on my Cannondale everyday. So is it ok if I eat anything I want? Will I still lose weight? I mean whatever junk I’m eating I’m burning off with the cycling right?
I thaught that when I stared rideing, 1200 miles later I was 1# lighter. :hate: I found I have to ride 20 to 25 miles every day to lose a pound a week eating the same . it was better to change my eating to less food . My.02
Yeah - NO! You can't eat whatever you want. To lose weight, you have to eat fewer calories than you burn. If "whatever" you eat adds up to less calories than you burn (or equal to), you'll be fine as far as weight goes. You are what you eat, though, and if you want to perform well, and not just maintain or lose weight, you need to eat well, too. Check out the book "Racing Weight".
