I absolutely LOVE my Treks. I just wish i could afford the ones i REALLY want.

Sickmont, I wouldn't own a Madone if you gave it to me. It's the only bike I've ever ridden that I honestly thought was no good at all. Way too soft for CF.

To be truthful, I tend to think I simply rode a bad one. They could not all be so terribly flexible in the rear triangle. It felt like rubber and the rear wheel moved so far laterally on humping up hills that the rims struck the brake calipers on each stroke. Closer examination showed nothing loose and no cracks, breaks in the frame. It was simply soft. I've said this before, Lance Armstrong cannot ride the commercial frame as I experienced it.
I was referring to their mountain bikes. Sorry for the lack of clarification. I've never actually even been on a Trek road bike, but i have indeed heard some poor things about them. Now if you want a really nice aluminum hardtail mountain bike, go try out a Trek 8000.
