Here in Flatlahoma it counts as climbing miles if you ride up your driveway to your garage .... but more seriously, great to hear he's heading back home. Someone needs to take a pic of a cyclist riding up a driveway and tip it 45 degrees, and caption it, "The hills are calling to you, John ...."
