Hey, this isn't my state, I only live here. This idea had been floated a while ago, but I never thought they would actually go through with it. What bothers me most is that if Browning had found a cure for cancer, but wasn't Mormon, he would have been ignored by the state. This proves once more that the concept of separation of church and state does not apply in Utah. We have plenty of laws that are fine examples of the church exercising their influence over non-members - for instance, if Mormons don't drink, why must we have such restrictive alcohol laws? Grrr.
For the record, I collect guns, and my whole family enjoys shooting. Not hunting, just shooting. And I'm a big CZ fan.
