You can learn a lot about someone by what they purchase.

The main body is silver-ish; however, yes, the black pump-end being black sort of ruins the whole 'blend in' effect for a silver bike. Alas, the $19.00 price tag makes that worry sting a wee less. :)
That explains it! I thought perhaps one of us was color blind.:D

Nope, neither of us are the color blind, it is obviously the folks who write the amazon ads with the limited visual acuity problems. :)
Does anyone really want to see a pic of my new compost bin?
Sure if you would like to see my pile.
Picked up a 90mm stem from CL last night to get Il Toro~Blu's cockpit a more comfortable (30mm closer) reach from her saddle. Will get the stems swapped out after work and give her a test ride for tonight's after work ride.
^^That's about an inch and a quarter, I think. Let us know if the difference is noticeable. Good Luck. ;)
Went all out which facilitates my selling all of my bikes and trike and am selling my car as well....

Bluevelo Carbon Strada, picking it up on/around Sept 28th at the Seagull Century.

That's an interesting choice there my friend! I hope it works out for ya! I can't imagine the climbing will be much fun.
New shoes :) Purchased locally so I paid through the nose but... It was a new shop to me and he gave me 10% off so I purchased tubes too :)

I'm sure those will treat you well. I almost went with those for my cross bike but my mechanic talked me into the Specialized Armadillos instead.

Definitely made a difference; 1-3/16" doesn't seem like a long distance, but it is 100000% noticeable to the overall ride comfort and control.
I need to get one of those. Our 15 year old Shih Tsu is both blind and now is almost deaf. Poor thing just walks around the house running into everything. There is an invention I saw on the local news a while back that some lady came up with for blind dogs. It's a special dog harness with a wire that loops around the dog's face. The wire will hit objects in front of the dog before his nose or head will and keeps the dog's face from getting injured.
Blind and deaf is covered in here as well. The halo you saw is mentioned in great depth. The book also covers how to make your own out of a collar and zip ties. It's a good book, covers the anatomy and physiology of the eye, disease processes, training, etc. I think it is ~15-23 on amazon, worth every penny.

Very nice!! Wish we had those when the dogs were aging, could have helped make their final years even better.

Wonder if they have one which deals with the Ambivalence of Cats?? :)
Not so much a 'purchase' as much as an exchange. I bought a pair of he performance brand ultra bibs about 18 months ago and they got a hole in them somehow. Looked like the seam wore open on my saddle.

Brought them back using their lifetime satisfaction guarantee (along with its twin set that didn't share the problem). Store manager exchanged them for a new pair in the current design which coincidentally match my ultra jersey I bought before summer.

Snagged some gu brew tabs and a replacement derailleur cable for my hybrid while I was there as well.
Looky Looky!!!!!!!

Got it for $340 including tax. Best deal I found! All the other deals online were only $10 cheaper. So I'd rather give the money locally than to an online retailer I don't know. Can't wait to hook it up! Woo Hoo

You are gonna love that thing, I promise ! It's one of the better investments you can make that's not bike group set/kit related.

E N J O Y !!
As an after thought... I'm not a huge fan of the plastic mount. You might consider the K-EDGE mount :)

KCNC makes a nice adjustable one as well
