Not something I purchased, but my Dad just got back from Italy and brought me back a present!

The official 2014 Giro di Italia Jersey!

Too bad it doesn't fit. It's a XXL and between the race for and European cut I can't get the zipper up. So it is hanging in my closet as a goal of mine to be able to wear that Jersey before Christmas!

So my dad felt bad about the 2014 Giro d'Italia jersey not fitting so he ordered me a new one. The Official 2011 Giro d'Italia jersey! And it fits. I can't wait to wear it.

Meet Rudy, the newest addition to our family. He is 5 weeks old so we were able to meet him and are due to pick him up to bring him home on 24 November. He was born on 23 September which is the day my Westie I had growing up passed away, so its a bit of a "old and new" kind of thing ties by a common date.

So for those of you keeping count from a picture in another thread, yes, this will make 3 Westies in our house. . .

With the Olde Dark 'N Damp upon us here in the SF Bay Area, it was time to bring ITB off of Summer hiatus and get me a a Raccoon Tail deterrent system!

Better known as a post-mounted fender: My LBS across from work had these SKS Xtra Dry3 fenders handy - best $15 bones spent on the Steed in a long while! View attachment 18463 View attachment 18464

Speaking of fenders. Here is my new fenders that I just mounted on my old CAAD10 road bike that I will use as my winter bike. Hopefully it will keep the salt/grimes off my drivetrain and backside. :)

This came in the mail today. It's a combination mount for my Garmin Edge Cycleputer and Gopro/Actioncam. Instead of having two mounts taking up space on my handlebar, I can combine them into one.

I am surprised that the CAAD has eyelets for fenders.

Dave, the CAAD10 doesn't have eyelets. The fenders kit came with hardware that allows you to mount the fenders using the skewers if your bike doesn't have eyelets. It is specially made for road bikes which generally don't have them.

I like that mount!

So for Christmas I'm going to ask for an action camera. Doesn't need GPS or anything like that but wasn't sure if I should ask for the Go Pro, Sony, etc. Any thoughts?

I've been looking again as well Lou. If you are not worried about getting the best video quality Groupon has a deal right now for the Garmin Virb which can record in 1080p but INMHO has some issues with colors washing out. YouTube it and you can see for yourself. For 99 bux it's hard to pass up!

GoPro sets the industry standard here so you'll have to make some tough choices. The way i see it there are several good cameras out there all with different levels of qauilty and features :)
