Now my bike will be flying with me - finally bit the bullet.
First trip - N Va and DC for the 4th.
Shame, Charlie just sold a BRAND new Thule for peanuts. Wish I would have know you were looking!
Trip to NoVa you say I see Denise must be there on an extended stay based on her rides.
Yeah. I’d have been interested. They aren’t cheap. I got it on discount luckily.
She is up there to help her dad who they are trying to get from a nursing home back to the house. I’ll be up there for 4 or 5 days. Plan on getting some rides in.
Weather got nice and soupy at least here this week.
Yep. Same here. Heat and humidity came this week - probably to stat till September. Might as well get used to it.
It's been so hot here I actually have a hard time riding, and I'm usually fine riding in the sweltering heat. But then today it's not even 70 degrees - weird.
I'd take that today and a day without wind would be nice to for a change.
Just bought some Vee Rubber 26x1.5 tires, Bontrager tubes, Velox rim tape and 4 V-brake pads.
Amazon driver crushed my VTX trike by throwing a box containing a table on top of it. In my driveway...on camera.
In addition to the temp drops we had 20 MPH winds with higher gusts, been super-windy here too.
Looks like you get a newer VTX.
So Amazon uses "ARC" for insurance.
I bought a 2nd one to tide me over...I sold that one (the good one) this Saturday to a really nice guy because my neck cannot tolerate it post op.
So, resurrecting the 2002 Trek 4300 to try to drop weight.
@Merlincustom , whole thing on video. They still are ducking responsibility.
Hope you get something worked out.
As good a duck as this?
Not that good, but honestly, I wonder how these adjusters have a conscience.
I just don't know what to say...
Obviously you need to be able to warm your mirror up from the car on the way home from work.
Seems everything I had on order mostly finally came in today. Brown Santa was busy here today.
