On the bottle discussion above I got 2 of these yesterday. They are insulated ones from Purist. I’ve always liked purist bottles. Tried one of them this morning and seemed to work well. So far so good.

My wife has that same model but the taller one and it too is almost impossible to open and close. Took it apart to clean it and try to fix it also and no dice. Fortunately, she rarely opens and closes it.

Certainly not cycling related but much more accurate than I’ll ever be. This is pretty sweet.

Really excited about our Ride 2 Rosemary team kit this year. Less than two weeks now till the grand depart.

    IMG_0841.jpg

We all ride in either remembrance or in honor of a cancer patient who had lost their battle or still fighting the good fight. Thought this was awesome touch to add their names to the kit this year.

Bought this last week while I was in the Burg riding with my buddy. Wasn't happy using what I have been using and all I can say is I LOVE this stuff AND reading the directions realized it's made locally in Virginia Beach! Well, cept the Oranj Peelz.

Not bike related but I’m very happy with our birthday present to ourselves. Breeo fire pit. It really is smokeless. Amazing heat.

These thinks really work great. No smoke if you keep the wood below the air intake holes. Puts out great heat. I went with Breeo since they are all made in USA (Pennsylvania). Solo is made in China. Breeo also has a slick lid so when you are done just cap it and leave it.

It's been an incredibly expensive couple of days. Been looking at this shed for a while and the time came. I just had to get stuff out of the garage. Spent a little extra on the vinyl windows and sheet insulation was installed. We started looking in July and this shed was literally 30 degrees cooler than one without the insulation sheets. It was a chore getting it moved in. They had a rig they slid under it and drove it to location where I wanted it.

Got a call today and the dock and pier guy showed up to take out 12 old pilings and install 7 new ones.

You should set up a pain cave now either in the garage or the new shed. Winter is coming ☹️

I have the spare room setup just for that. Nothing but bike junk in that room :D The new shed is full and I fear I under bought on that. Table saw, miter saw, router table, thickness planner, Orbital belt sander...blah, blah. Waiting on the local power company to come and start the process of getting it metered for power. It's to far from the house to bore power to it( and would require boring under the lane to even get to it...:() BUT it's less than 125ft from the transformer. Can't wait to see how much this will cost :D

Finally, my Favero Assioma Duo power meter pedals came and I tried them out on a 11 mile jaunt.

I like them and the Look Keo styled pedals aren’t too bad to engage as many write.
